I remember that week-long event with Eddie and Matthew at Blue Rider well. I’d stop by a 3 in the morning to watch the students from the Art Institute watching those 2 sleep! The students talked for 20 minutes in hush tones about the significance of the performers sleeping. I thought it was ridiculous at first but came to appreciate its exploration of what is art, what is performance and what is just two guys sleeping! Very interesting times.
