As the year comes to a close and we enter the time of the year where we reunite with family and loved ones, I want to thank you all for reading this column and often sharing your thoughts on my weekly dispatch. Your comments mean a lot to me and are really the most rewarding aspect of this project.
As you know from my last column, we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of Librería Donceles. a socially engaged art project I started in 2013 consisting in a non-profit traveling Spanish-language used bookstore that supports Latinx culture.
As part of a fundraising Donceles birthday campaign, we are offering a limited edition of Micro-Artoons. These are hand-drawn, signed, framed, 6x4” drawings in editions of 25 each. There are five kinds to choose from, ranging from classic Artoons to new material:
